ABOUT ACWC

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Arts Council of Wayne County is to ensure the arts are a thriving part of our community.

BUILDING & GARDEN
The Arts Council is centrally located in Goldsboro, North Carolina, on the corner of Ash Street and Spence Avenue.  Its 13,000 square foot building, which was previously a bank, is uniquely suited to exhibit works of art.  Additionally, the Arts Council's 2.3 acre garden with its pond, fountain, & sculptures is a wonderful place to take a walk, bird watch, draw or paint, or just relax.  Each year in September, the Arts Council hosts its annual Sunday in the Garden event.  The event is free and features performances by local musicians and performing arts groups as well as free children's art activities.
