August 7
Smithsonian's New Harmonies Exhibit, Celebrating American Roots Music.  Lower level gallery, Arts Council.  Opening Festival & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, 4 pm - 8 pm.  Live music by blues legend George Higgs, The Donald Underwood Thompson Band, A Drummers' World Drum Line & Samantha Casey & the Bluegrass Jam  Free.

September 2
Performance by the Camelots.  Enjoy some foot tappin' music and refreshments.  7 pm - 8:30 pm.  Free

September 4
Celebrate the Labor Day weekend with Snack & a Story, 12 pm - 2 pm. For kids of all ages.  Enjoy a snack, a story, and a fun art project.  Free

September 7
Roots Music Panel Discussion & Jam Session at Moffat Auditorium, Wayne Community College.  7 pm - 8:30 pm.  Free

September 9
Jazz with Jeff Grimes, 7 pm - 8:30 pm.  Jeff plays the sax and talks and talks about his life and music. Free

September 12
Sunday in the Garden, 1 pm - 5 pm. Bring your lawn chairs & enjoy a relaxing day of music, art activities, hula hoops, fun and tour the Smithsonian's New Harmonies exhibit.  FREE 

September 16
Speaker Willie Nelms gives an entertaining program called America's Music Down to It's Roots. 7 pm - 8:30 pm.  Free

September 17
Wayne Community Concerts presents Barbra and Frank at The Paramount Theatre, 7:30 pm.  Admission by season ticket.

September 18
Join us to bid farewell at the closing ceremony of the Smithsonian's New Harmonies exhibit.  1 pm - 3 pm, refreshments, Free

Center Stage Theatre presents Harvey, Wayne Community College, Sept. 17 & 18 at 8 pm, Sept. 19 at 3 pm.  Ticket prices TBA

Goldsboro Ballet's Love of Dance, Wayne Community College, 7 pm, Silent Auction and performance.  Tickets $10 will be sold at Goldsboro School of Ballet.

October 7 - November 24
Wayne County Artists Exhibit, lower level gallery.  Opening reception October 7, 5 - 7 pm.  Free and open to the public. Live music by Flat Mountain Dulcimers.

October 16
Wayne Community Concerts presents Legacy of Floyd Cramer at The Paramount Theatre, 7:30 pm.  Admission by season ticket.

Holiday Art Market Grand Opening.  Upper level of the Arts Council.  Time TBA

December 3 - 5
The Nutcracker performed by Goldsboro Ballet, Paramount Theatre.  December 3 - School Synopsis at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am and 12:30 pm.  Tickets are $4.  December 4 at 7:30 pm and December 5 at 3:00 pm.  Tickets $15, $12, $10 available at Paramount Theatre.

December 4
Gingerbread Wonderland Breakfast, 10 am - 12 pm.  Muffins, hot chocolate and projects for children.  Tickets on sale at the door.

December 4 - 17
Gingerbread Wonderland Exhibit.  Entries from the Arts Council of Wayne County's annual Gingerbread House Contest.

December 4, 5 & 7
III Century Singers Christmas Concert, Dec. 4, 7:00 pm & Dec. 5, 4:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Goldsboro.  Dec. 7, 7:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Mount Olive.  Concerts are free.  Donations are very much appreciated.

December 8
Goldsboro Writers Group hosts an Open Reading beginning at 7:00 pm at the Arts Council of Wayne County.  For more information contact Margaret Baddour 735-5151.

December 10 - 12
Center Stage Theatre presents A Christmas Carol: The Broadway Musical at The Paramount Theatre.  Dec. 10 & 11 at 8 pm,     Dec. 12 at 3 pm.  Ticket prices TBA
