The Arts Council of Wayne County is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization funded through a combination of local and state grants and corporate and individual donors. Our mission is to discover creativity within every individual, foster artistic expression, and build vibrant communities. We firmly believe it’s the right of every citizen to have access to participation in the arts. In addition, we want to support local artists in every way possible to help them succeed. We recognize that the arts play a vital role in the economic development and livability of our county.
