Pop-Up Exhibition featuring Kim Stovall at Gypsy Bean Coffee Shop!
Kim Stovall is a North Carolina mixed media artist known for her experimental approach to color and materials. Working with everything from alcohol inks, acrylics, and spray paint to unconventional materials like nail polish, sand, salt, wire, bleach, and even fire, she enjoys discovering what happens when different materials, techniques, and colors interact.
Her work ranges from vibrant abstractions inspired by the natural and otherworldly to figurative pieces celebrating Black women. Through her art, Stovall explores beauty, representation, curiosity, and experimentation, embracing the unexpected movement, texture, and color that emerge throughout her creative process.
